Cute small shop with 5 tables serving up a creative vegetarian menu. Really enjoyed my lunch - ordered the #7 which comes with A LOT. Phew, so full after. I was especially a fan of the sweet potato fried spring rolls. Friendly young guy running the shop and importantly they also serve Vietnamese coffee (hot and iced) Highly recommend! I only wish they would also open for dinner :’)

It’s a humble Vietnamese cafe opened by a young couple. The chef is the owner herself from Vietnam. The food can be improved which lacks abit of the authenticity of Vietnamese an chay food. However given that they are a newly start-up, I believed they can improve from here. If they include more dishes like “bun ruei”, “pho”, “ban-mi”, it will be a great boost for them. Let’s give them our support!

Happy to discover a hidden gem in the east~ @bunhuecafe (which has quietly opened for 3 months) offers pretty refined Vietnamese Vegetarian fare and I’m happier bcos it’s super near my Chinese physician shop~ (along the road of Changi). Shop is pretty small (max 8 seating outside the shop) but I personally enjoy this BBQ Delight thick vermicelli ($7) which is splendidly done, mixes well with their homemade sauce and it’s full of ingredients (mix of mock, fried items and gluten). The spring roll (2 rolls for $3) is an absolute tasty treat as well, soft noodles wrap with mint leaves, veggies and taste good with the mock meat used. Fried wanton $5 (served hot) reminds me of Mexican bites as it’s served with a generous spread of tomato purée, I can’t make out the inside tofu ingredients but it’s nice as a snack. Mister has a tomyum noodle soup which taste more Singaporean than Thai (I’m not sure how Vietnamese tomyum taste like) which is common. Come for the BBQ delight, it sure left an impression in me. I asked young boss if they will be launching Pho in the future, they told me they would but slowly as there’s only 1 Chef (his lovely Vietnamese wife) at the moment. I hope to be back sometime soon again for other dishes (yet to try their signature soup). Total spending $22 which is reasonable IMO and they operate daily (Mon-sat) from 11-8pm (till 9pm on Fri and sat) . Rest on Sundays. Do check if they have any rest days though. Boss said all their noodles and rice items are vegan friendly except for their dessert which does contain eggs and viet coffee (contains milk), and he is slowly going to introduce vegan-friendly drinks going forward. Everything is #alliumsfree (yay!). Give them time to roll out slowly and let’s support this young couple in their veg Vietnamese business! Shop name pronounced as “Boon Hwee” , which is central of Vietnam? Location : 116 Changi Road (very near to Yuan Xiang Veg) Hours: 11-8pm (closed on Sundays); operates till 9pm on Fri/sat. #msvegrecommends #sgvegvietnamesefood #bunhuecafe #sgvegetarian #sgvegan #veganfriendly #vietnamesevegetarian #新加坡越南素食

This small alfresco cafe run by a young couple is a gem that serves super good value meals. The Vietnamese BBQ Delight was subtly flavourful and had a generous medley of ingredients. Loved the thin skin of the fresh spring rolls and the fried wanton was light, crispy and had a tasty filling. Will be back to try their other dishes

The little spot on Changi Road offers pretty good vegetarian noodle soups. They combine spices and styles to create their vegetarian versions of Vietnamese dishes that’s casual but first rate in the food department as this is something new and not so common when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. The price point is good. For the spicy noodle soup, it sets you back $11. The highlight is Bun Hue’s service. Warm, friendly and super efficient, we don’t have this everywhere in Singapore.

Authentic and flavourful dishes from Hue, Vietnam. The menu is allium-free eggless vegetarian, and everything is vegan except the drinks which contain cow's milk (oat milk option sometimes available). Really hope that they can switch out to vegan milk completely, or at least consistently offer vegan milk options (there are lower-cost ones like Nutrisoy, Vitasoy, V-Soy)! Note that there are limited seats.

Small cozy shop selling vegetarian/vegan vietnamese style dishes that are allium/alcohol free. Their signature soup noodles have a herbal taste to them, while the viet street chao mian has a nice crunch from the chopped peanuts. Rolls combo was delicious, fried spring rolls was filled with home made paste, while the rice rolls went well with the bowl of sauce.

We are hooked on this place. It is not easy to find good Vietnamese vegetarian in Singapore and we found it! Our favourite will be the barbecue mix and the pho noodle soup. We love the veggies rolls and fried wanton too! Each visit here is a delight
